We're not just another cafe.

“We want them to find conversations and connections here. Small towns make for family connections. Someone new may come to our town, to hunt, fish or just vacation. We want them to find a place to come back to. We want to form that connection  to be a “root” in their life. If you visit once, we consider you a guest. if you come back, we are certainly friends. however, our goal is that you find a community here and put down roots. This house, our family, and food are rooted here. The Grand champion oak tree in our yard (which is over 260 years old) has roots that have helped it withstand every storm and drought. We pray you will find your roots to stand through everything life throws at you! May everyone who comes here find their roots...
